Ravi and Vijay have been the closest of friends since childhood. Vijay’s mother has taken care of Ravi when he was a young boy and he is indebted to them for it. Unfortunately Vijay’s father died when he was very young and his mother concealed the reason behind his death. Turns out his father was brutally killed by a ruthless man called Jaikishan. Vijay and Jaikishan meet one day but the latter has no idea who Vijay is. Meanwhile the boys fall in love. Vijay happens to fall in love with a girl called Meena, while Ravi falls in love with a girl called Minu.
One day Vijay sees Ravi with a girl and is shocked to see that it is his girlfriend Meena. He is heartbroken that his girlfriend is two-timing and cheating on him with his friend, but it turns out that Meena and Minu are twin sisters who are identical in looks. This creates a series of misunderstandings between the two friends.
The movie is directed by Arshad Khan and produced by B R Sahni. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar. The cinematography is by Anil Dhanda and the dialogues are written by Naeem – Ejaz. The screenplay is written by Lalit Mahajan. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Ayub Khan, Manik Bedi, Mamta Kulkarni, Mohnish Bahl, Punit Issar, Tiku Talsania, Kadar Khan, Jackie Sharoff. The cinematography is by Anil Dhanda.
