Jai, played by Imran Khan and Aditi, played by Genelia D’Souza are the best of friends in college. Their other friends include Jiggy, Rotlu, Sandhya and Shaleen. They are almost inseparable. Aditi loves her family and has a love hate relationship with her brother. Everyone in their group thinks that Jai and Aditi would make the perfect couple but they disagree, always denying their feelings and ignoring them. After college however they start looking for their life partner’s else where. Aditi meets Sushant, her father’s friend’s son and Jai falls in love with Meghna.
Jai and Aditi miss eachother every now and then but it brush it off when they are with their respective partners. At one party when they both meet Jai sees how Sushant is brash and has no consideration for Aditi’s feelings. Jai too feels that he doenst have the same connection with Meghna like he used to have with Aditi. Eventually Jai and Aditi realize that they love each other and no one can ever take their place and get married.
The movie is directed by Abbas Tyrewala and produced by Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan. The music is composed by A.R Rahman.
