Badshah, played by Akshay Kumar is adopted by Sultan as a child and he is brought up to be dreaded don. His criminal background makes him a target of inspector Pradhan, played by Ashish Vidyarthi. Badshah’s friend Abdul is always by his side. Badshah falls in love with Sapna, played by Karisma Kapoor and she always supports him in everything he does. Badshah gets involved in a murder, due to which a child becomes Badshah’s responsibility. He takes the child to Sapna who loves and nurtures the child. Soon Badshsh changes his identity and becomes a blacksmith in order to give the child a respectable future and life.
Meanwhile inspector Pradhan meets him after 7 years and again begins to chase him. The child’s parents locate him and want their child back. This puts Badshah and Sapna in a dilemma and they give the child a heart broken good-bye. But things will soon change drastically for the family. The movie is directed and produced by Suneel Darshan. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Mohnish Bahl, Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Johnny Lever, Aditya Kapadia, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Rami Reddy, Viju Khote, Malay Chakraborty, Dinesh Hingoo, Jeetu Varma, Jasbinder Nar, Huma Khan and Dolly Bindra.
