Sooraj, played by Salman Khan is brought up in a wealthy household by his grandfather. Sooraj spends his money on wooing women, partying and drinking. His grandfather isn’t happy about Sooraj’s behavior and wants him to settle down. Soon Sooraj meets a beautiful girl called Komal and falls for her, but she ignores him and rejects him. He doesn’t give up and keeps persisting until she also falls in love with him. She however agrees to marry him only when he stops all his bad habits and he agrees. One day however things take a drastic turn in Sooraj’s life when a small boy named Kabir, comes out his home and claims to be his son.
Sooraj is surprised and then goes into a flashback where he was in love with Kabir’s mother. She went away from his life without him knowing that she was carrying his child. Soon Komal sees the boy and gets suspicious but Sooraj says that he is his friend’s son. Soon Komal comes to know the truth and is furious. Seeing that Sooraj accepts Kabir as his son melts Komal’s heart and she marries him.
The movie is directed by Deepal Sarin and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani. The star cast includes Anupam Kher,Saeed Jaffrey,Johnny Lever,Harish Patel,Aditya Narayan and Farida Jalal. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The cinematography is by Manmohan Singh and the choreography is by Farah Khan and Raju Sundaram.
