Jagan is a poor blacksmith who is done wrong by a rich man, who kills his only son. He is now helpless as the law enforcement agencies too let him down. He is furious to see that the man who killed his son is roaming freely around doing whatever he wants to do. Jagan finally has had enough and decides to take matters in his own hands by killing the rich man. Jagan is now known as Jagannath and once again has to face the ugly side of a flawed judicial system in Ranigadh village, where his dreams will be shattered once again.
The movie is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by Akram Shaikh. The music is composed by Arpita Raaj and Shyam Anuragi. The lyrics are written by Ibrahim Ashik. The story and screenplay is written by Sutanu Gupta. The cinematography is by Siba Mishra and the choreography is by Pappu Khanna. The star cast includes Ronit Roy, Sangeeta Bijlani, Shatrughan Sinha, Mukesh Khanna, Punit,Rami Reddy, Paintal and Shagufta Ali.
