At the LoC a strange argument breaks out between the Indian camps and the Pakistanis on the other side. The argument escalates into a fight. A over excited journalist hears of the verbal fight and decides to make something more of it. He writes a story about how India and Pakistan are about to go into war. This comes as a shock not just to the government but to the public as well.
With no solid evidence to back the rumor international bodies also get involved. The Home minister of India sets up a committee to decide whether India will go into war or not. The committee comprises of ex-servicemen, NGO workers, several members of the parliament and an ex- supreme court judge. The meeting of the committee turns out to be a laugh riot as each member throws personal attacks on the other. The mud-slinging goes on and on till the setting of the meeting looks like a battle field even though the entire country is waiting with baited breath for their decision.
Forgetting the gravity of the situation, the people in power squabble over petty issues while the real hero’s who are the army men bring about the real peace.
