Veeru, played by Kunal Khemu is a small-time goon who works for drug mafia Tejpal, played by Arbaaz Khan. Veeru’s close friend Jai, played by Fardeen Khan is an undercover cop and Veeru has no idea about it. Jai is actually assigned to get substantial evidence on Tejpal and nab him. He tries and gets as much information on Tejpal from Veeru with him knowing about it. One day Jai raids Tejpals house and Veeru happens to be there too. In the cross firing that ensues, Veeru accidentally shoots Jai in the head and is devastated. Jai however, survives the bullet and makes a full recovery.
Veeru is later arrested when he tries to flee and Jai is given the task to get him to court so he can testify against Tejpal in court. The two friends realize their friendship is still rock solid despite the circumstances they are put in. Veeru claims to have Tejpal’s diary. They go to confront him but he shoots Veeru and Jai comes just in time and kills Tejpal. Jai lets Veeru escape and Jai’s duty is now in trouble for what he has done.
The movie is directed by Puneet Sira and produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj. The music is composed by Bappa Lahiri.
