Gangaram is an honest municipality worker and has been there for several years on end. He is known to be faithful to his job and never accepts any bribes. Contractor Prem Kumar tries his best to sell Gangaram’s soul to the devil, but all in vain. So the former decides to teach the latter a good lesson. They hire his son Vijay and also get him married to Prem’s daughter Sapna. Vijay and Prem have a son and they name him Ravi. They all then scheme to fool Gangaram and make him sign on important documents and then usurp his property for himself. They are then left desolate and homeless. When Ravi grows his parents tell him that his grandparents are no more.
Years later an adult Ravi sees a man on the railway station that looks like his grandfather and begins to talk to him. To his shock, he realizes that the man is indeed his grandfather. He then teaches his parents a lesson and treats them the same way they treated his grandparents. The film is directed and produced by Vimal Kumar. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the story is written by Shivam Chitrya. The star cast includes Govinda,Kimi Katkar,Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor,Paintal,Dinesh Hingoo,Gulshan Grover,Nitin Mukesh,Bharat Bhushan,Yunus Perwaiz,Mushtaq Merchant,Vikas Anand,Rajesh Puri, Ghanshyam, Jr.Mehmood and Asrani.
