When Buntu dies of a drug overdose, his elder brother Kapil, played by Naseeruddin Shah swears that he will put an end to drug smuggling and drug dealers everywhere. He thus joins the police force to work with the law. Very soon he earns the title of CID inspector and gains reputation for being an honest and tough cop. He settles in Bombay with his mother, played by Kamini Kaushal. In a horrible turn of events, Kapil witnesses the murder of his closest friend from Goa, Albert Pinto. He vows to avenge his friend’s death by bringing the perpetrators to justice.
Kapil travels to Goa but the local police does not give him too much support. Left him no choice he decides to take matters in his own hands and plans to uncover the truth. He takes the help of a local bar dancer named Jojo, played by Archana Puran Singh. He is then involved with many confrontations and ultimately gets arrested by the cops. He escapes from custody and fights another battle where henchmen and police officers are after Kapil’s life.
The movie is directed by Pankaj Parashar and produced by Gul Anand. The music is composed by Anand-Milind and Remo Fernandes.
