Sonu, played by Emraan Hashmi is a small time arms dealer and a sweet talker. He turns informer for ACP Pratap, played by Randeep Hooda on his insistence and gives him important information on arms dealers in the city. Sonu later happens to fall in love with Dr. Jhanvi, played by Esha Gupta and wants to leave the world of crime behind but Pratap pleads with him to continue till they nab the leader of the arms racket and he reluctantly agrees.
Eventually Sonu marries Jhanvi and they live a blissful life until one day, his world almost collapses. He learns that Jhanvi’s estranged father, Mangal is actually the leader of the arms racket and running his business in Delhi. Sonu gets Mangal’s confidence and tells him he will be useful for his gang and Mangal agrees. But Sonu plays a shrewd game by not telling Mnagal about being an informer or gives Pratap all the information he has. He hatches a plan to run away with Jhanvi to live a peaceful and stress-free life. However, another mole in the police force alerts Mangal.
Mangal along with his gang goes to attack Sonu. Sonu on the other hand calls Pratap for help and they arrive with their entire force. Unfortunately Sonu is shot by the Commissioner and Pratap shoots him and Mangal. At the hospital Sonu breathes his last after informing Pratap to tell his wife he has left the city and gone away forever. The movie is directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The music is compose by Pritam.
