Vijay Saxena is the union leader who is compassionate and wants his employer Dhanraj to treat his employees as the shareholder of the company. He thus gives a cheque of Rs 10 lakhs to him which he accepts. Later the employees sence foul play and are unhappy with the way things are going. Vijay realizes that Dhanraj has not used the amount well and is manipulating the accounts. Meanwhile one of the employees has a horrible accident and looses his leg. Dhanraj promises a compensation Rs 60 thousand but ends up giving only Rs 10,000. When asked he tells Vijay that the rest of the money has been stolen by an employee named Mohan.
Later Mohan’s dead body is found and Vijay is falsely implicated for his murder. He is arrested by inspector Jaikishan and tried in court. In a strange turn of events, Jaikishan’s wife comes forward to tell the court that he didn’t commit the murder as she was with him the night the murder took place. This creates a huge rift between Jaikishan and her and also Vijay’s wife Jyoti who is Jaikishan’s sister. The film is directed by Vijay Reddy and is produced by K C Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the story is written by K C Bokadia. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Shatrughan Sinha, Sridevi, Kader Khan, Asrani, Amrish Puri, Satyen Kappu and Seema Deo.
