Simran, played by Neha Sharma, has completed her graduation in Engineering and come to Mumbai to begin a lucrative career in the IT sector. She manages to secure a good job in a big company has starts working, however the company shuts down in five months, leaving Simran jobless and penniless. She decides to move into a cheaper accommodation where her neighbor is Jayantabhai, played by Vivek Oberoi. He is a gangster who works for a don named Althaf Bhai.
Simran is cautious of Jayanta as he is a criminal but sees his good-natured side as well when he takes her to the hospital for accidentally overdosing on vitamins. She begins to enjoy his company and starts falling in love with him. One day after being drunk they get intimate. Simran introduces Jayanta as a IT manager to her parents and they fix her marriage but on seeing him beating up a man at a party they change their mind and refrain her from going back to Mumbai or working there.
Meanwhile, Althaf tells Jayanta to kill Alex who is a rival gangster and an ex-cop. After ensuring Simran attends her job interview he obeys lthaf and kills Alex but before that he gets stabbed and severely injured. Simran later becomes the director of a big company and meets Jayanta who is working at a petrol bunk and they re-unite. The movie is directed by Vinnil Markan and produced by Kumar S Taurani. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
