A crime action movie directed by Vijay Anand and produced by Gulshan Rai, written by K. A. Narayan, music by Kalyanji- Anandji, distributed by Trimuti Films, Prasad Productions Pvt Ltd, released on 11th November 1970, starring Dev Anand, Hema Malini, Pran, Jeevan, Premnath and I.S. Johar.
The story is about two brothers Sohan (Dev Anand) and Mohan(Pran) who are the sons of a Police Heera(Jeevan) who is killed by a gangster . Destiny keeps the brothers apart. Sohan follows his father’s footsteps to become a police officer, Mohan is all out to kill the man who murdered their father. Sohan goes undercover to nab a smuggler and discovers some reality that changes his life forever. He woos his lady love Rekha( Hema Malini) nabs the criminal.
This movie has beautiful songs rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale and Usha Khanna and was the highest grossing Bollywood film of 1970.
