Retired judge Umakanth is a wealthy man and his son Shashikant is brought up with a lot of pampering. This has made him a woman’s man and he happens to have a lot of girlfriends and has a frivolous lifestyle. Gauri stays in his outhouse and supervises the work of Umakanth and the house. When Umakanth is on his death bed he wishes that hi son Shashikant and Gauri must marry. After his passing, Shashikant is in a dilemma but marries Gauri. Soon they welcome their child Ravikant. One day she catches Shashikant with another woman, not knowing that he is simply attending to her sick   child. This creates a rift between the couple. Gauri then gives birth to another child named Umakanth. Ravikant is left with Shashikant while Gauri takes Umakanth and they separate. Ravi is brought up with a lot of pampering by his father while Umakanth is a brilliant student thanks to his mother. Soon the boys grow up and join the same company not knowing that they are brothers. The film is directed by Tatineni Rama Rao and produced by A.V. Subba Rao. The music is composed by Laxmikanth Pyarelal. The star cast includes
