Manas is an intelligent man living a wealthy lifestyle with his mother in a lavish home. He finds love and sex a waste of time and energy. He would rather devote his time in studies and research. His mother however would like him to get married to a beautiful and smart girl called Vidya but he refuses to budge. He has already begun work to build a computer that will replace love, sex and pleasure. When his mother hears of this she is mortified and demands that he stop this nonsense immediately but Manas has already made up his mind and wont change it. Hearing this, his mother has a cardiac arrest and is bed ridden.
Manas blames himself for his mother’s condition and decides to marry Vidya. Soon Misunderstandings crop up between the newly married couple as he suspects his wife of having an affair with an old flame. Things get even worse when he sees them together. They then ultimately go their separate ways. Turns out there is an external evil force that is controlling Manas and wants to now control the entire humanity. The film is directed and produced by Salahuddin Prevez. The music is composed by Jaidev. The star cast includes Akbar Khan, Shafi Inamdar, Padmini Kolhapure, Raza Murad, Bharat Bhushan, Raju, Daya Dongre, Shehla Khan, Javed Khan, Jagdeep and Seema Deo.
