Captain Jahan, played by Pulkit Samrat is an army officer who is very dedicated to his duties towards the army. He is ready to lay his life for his country when the need arises. He meets with a vivacious Punjabi girl called Suhani, played by Yami Gautam where she is seen swimming in the army pool without anyones knowledge or permission. She is taken to task by Jahan without her will.
Jahan tells Suhani that she must stay in the army camp as per their protocol. Reluctanly Suhani stays but asks Jahan to sign an apology letter but he refuses to do so. She warns him if he doesn’t sign the letter she would jump out and she does which leads to her injury. Jahan admits her to the hospital and they start getting close. Suhani invites Jahan on a trip to Amritsar but lies to her parents. This knowledge infuriates her father who is also an ex-army officer.
Suhani’s father gives Jahan an ultimatum that he either leave the army or Suhani. Jahan doesn’t feel right choosing between his two loves and leaves. Suhani elopes to mistakenly find Jahan with another woman. Later at Suhani’s wedding, Jahan learns of the mistake and confusion and writes a letter to Suhani confessing his love and the two are united and get married.
