Kalpana is in love with Shekhar and they both intend to marry soon. Kalpana’s parents however, are against this union and want her to stop seeing him. She however persists and soon their romance continues. Shekhar and Kalpana study in the same college and he encourages her to become the president of the student body. She agrees and is soon a popular girl among the students. This infuriates her rival who is the son of a influential politician. Kalpana is then pressurized to leave the student body and resign but she refuses. Even Shekhar now agrees and tells her to step down but she is relentless. After a few days a letter from Kalpana is found that says she is resigning from the post of the President. This baffles Shekhar too but she is no where to be found. Next day Shekhar’s friend is found dead and the police are put to investigate.
The film is directed by Sudhanshu Hakku and produced by Subhash R duragkar. The music is composed by Rajat Dholakia and the story is written by Ammtoje Mann and Sudhanshu Hakku. The cinematography is by Kiran Deohans and Nazir Khan. The star cast includes Uday Tikekar, Juhi Chawla, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Paresh Rawal.
