In Corbett National Park there is news of a man eating tiger doing the rounds. Two British nationals have been killed and eaten by the tiger and now people living in the surrounding areas fear for their lives. The renowned company National Geographic is investigating the matter and thus sends its Indian correspondent Krish Thapar, played by John Abraham to find out more information. He is accompanied by his wife Riya, played by Esha Deol. Meanwhile elsewhere in the forst a group of youngsters Dev, played by Vivek Oberoi, Ishika, played by Lara Dutta, Sajid, played by Kushal Punjabi and Vishal, played by Vishal Malhotra are on a hunting trip, ignoring the grave danger that lies ahead.

 

The two groups meet after a while and take the help of a local man called Kaali who knows the area well. He then saves the groups from a bunch of tigers. Unfortunately few of the group members are killed mysteriously. Riya is drowned and found hanging in a well, Vishal dies in a crash and Sajid is shot dead. Kaali later tells them about a legend where a tourist guide was not happy with the hunting of animals and lead the hunters to be eaten by tigers. Later on learning this the villagers threw him to the tigers. His ghost now haunts anyone who breaks the jungle rules. It is later revealed that Kaali was the spirit and saving the jungle. Dev, Krish and Ishika manage to leave the jungle alive.

 

The movie is directed by Soham Shah and produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. The music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman and Anand Raj Anand.
