Suraj is averse to any kind of work or effort to get on with his life. He wants things without any kind of effort or struggle. One day when he gate crashes a wedding he comes to know that the groom to be will be staying in the wealthy bride’s house. This gives him dreams of doing the same. To his delight he finds out that the bride has an unmarried sister Geeta. Soon he starts chasing Geeta and begins to woo her. Geeta falls in love with Suraj and both get married. Now Suraj hopes for the easy life where he will live with his inlaws, but soon the tables turn and Geeta wants to move out. Suraj agrees but soon he begins to feel the pressure of having to take up responsibilities of his wife. He demands a share of his father-in-law’s immense wealth and also wont back out to take him to court. The film is directed by K Vishwanath and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Asrani, Suresh Oberoi, Jaya Prada, Tanuja, Neeta Mehta, Shreeram Lagoo, Bhagwan, Pinchoo Kapoor, Sujit Kumar, Rakesh Roshan and Sonu Nigam.
