Mahadev and Shankar are evil moneylenders who loot the farmers and exploit them to no end. Ram is one such poor farmer, whose land was pledged to Mahadev. On one given opportunity, Mahadev kills Ram, leaving the latter’s wife Sita and son Rajesh to fend for themselves. Rajesh is devastated and turns an outlaw. He gets into bad company and takes to drinking heavily. Rajesh is then rescued from the clutches of a crooked Mahadev who tries to take advantage of the situation and take Rajesh under his wings. The film is directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by G A Seshagiri rao. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The story and screenplay is written by Paruchuri Brothers. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shabana Azmi, Rekha Bharti, Amjad Khan, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Vijayendra, Satyen Kappu and Reeta Bhaduri.
