DarshanLal is a notorious gangster with many influencial and political connections. No cop thus has dared to come in his way or arrest him or his henchmen. Public prosecutor Janki however isn’t perturbed by Lal. Her husband Raghunath one day catches Lal’s son kill a man and gets him arrested thus testifying against him. He is then sentenced to death. Lal swears revenge and bribes Raghunath to join his gang. He slowly becomes an alcoholic and begins coming home late at night. One day his car meets with an accident and he dies. This leaves Janki and his younger brother to fend for themselves. Janki raises his brother to be a police officer. He is then assigned the job to nab Lal but will he be able to do the task?
The film is directed by P Chandra and produced by R Kumar. The music is composed by Jagjit Singh. The star cast includes Asrani,Prem Chopra and Menaka Babbar.
