Even though he has lived in London all his life, Takila is Indian at heart and wishes to marry a traditional Indian bride who will take care of him and his family. He is looking for someone who will be his lifelong partner. Thus, on the auspicious occasion of the festival of Dusshera, Takila comes to Chandigarh to look for his dream bride.
He comes to his uncle’s house to meet a potential Punjabi bride called Maya, but instead he gets trapped in an income raid that messes up everything. On learning about his London citizenship, an income tax officer, Mishti starts to seduce Takila. Things get even more complicated and funny when a girl called Hetal who teaches dandiya tries to get Takila’s attention. When Maya who is actually supposed to marry Takila enters the scene, realizes that he is already being impressed by Hetal and Mishti and gets furious.
