Sunil belongs to a middle class family in Goa and has had a huge crush on his childhood friend Anna. After completing her studies from the city, she is finally arriving to Goa and he is all excited. Also excited is Chris, who is also in love with Anna and a rival of Sunil. He lies to Chris that Anna’s train is running late so he can go to pick her at the station. Meanwhile Anna joins Sunil and Chris in their 6 member band. They all sing at shows and also functions. One day Sunil notices that Anna and Chris are getting close and decides to separate them. He then tells Chris that Anna is a characterless girl and has dated many boys, while he tells Anna that Chris isn’t a boy for her as he is a womanizer.
When Anna and Chris learn the truth, they are furious at Sunil and want to stop associating with him. Meanwhile Anna tells Sunil that she always loves Chris and not him and they decide to get married.
The movie is directed by Kundan Shah and produced by Vikram Mehrotra. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit and the lyrics are written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. The story is written by Pankaj Advani. The cinematography is by Virendra Saini. The star cast includes Shahrukh Khan, Deepak Tijori, Suchitra Krishnamurti, Satish Shah, Goga Kapoor, Ravi Vaswani, Naseeruddin Shah, Tiku Talsania, Reeta Bhaduri and Anjjan Shrivastava.
