Suhel, played by John Abraham and Jai, played by Arshad Warsi work as journalists for an Indian Agency. They are sent on an assignment to Afghanistan, to see how the country is operating after the US invasion. On reaching there, the duo are shocked at the tragic lives the people lead. Also the country is destroyed due to the Taliban regime. They somehow manage to escape the capture by Taliban and travel with an Afghan driver Khyber to a café. There they meet American journalist Jessica and invite her to join them in their tour. However another passenger pretending to be an Afghan women hitches a ride with them, who in reality is a Taliban official Imran.
Imran then asks the trio to come to the border with them or they will be killed. Imran wants to negotiate with his Taliban associates in Pakistan. Meanwhile Jessica stumbles upon Imran’s passport that shows him as a Pakistani national, who wants to infiltrate into the Taliban. Knowing that his things have been exposed, he takes Suhel, Jai, Jessica and Khyber hostage. Imran reaches the border and bids the four travellers goodbye. But unfortunately gets attacked by the Mujahadeen. He fights them on his own and asks the others to go ahead with their journey. Sadly he is killed by the Pakistani troops.
The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra. The music is composed by Raghav Sachar. The cinematography is by Anshuman Mahaley.
