Aftab, played by Ajay Devgn and Dhananjay, played by Saif Ali Khan are stepbrothers who dislike each other the minute they meet. While Aftab is into smuggling goods from Rajasthan to Pakistan, Dhananjay is a corporate employee who is living a rich lifestyle. Aftab loves Ruksana but her parents reject him due to his background and Dhananjay loves Ragini, whose father has just passed away. One day an unforeseen incident makes Aftab and Dhananjay end up in handcuffs together. They both hesitantly bond and start to care for each other.
Aftab And Dhananjay then join forces to prove that they are innocent and not the terrorists the law enforcers make them to be. The movie is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Kamal S Taurani. The music is composed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The star cast includes Manisha Koirala, Namrata Shirodkar, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Govind Namdeo, Anupam Shyam, Ishrat Ali, Vineet Kumar, Annu Kapoor, Parmeet Sethi and Maya Alagh.
