Madhumati is a pretty and innocent girl living a middle class lifestyle with her brother Ram who dots on her. He gives her the liberty of enjoying her life by attending parties and going for picnics with her friends. During one such outing she meets the young and handsome Arun. They both fall in love but little does she know that Arun is out to exploit her like many other pretty young girls to make money for his blue films. Eventually she is sold to a brothel and is devastated to know how she was tricked by her lover. Her brother Ram meanwhile is frantically searching for her and comes to know the truth and tries to rescue her but in vain.
Soon Madhumati starts to search for Arun to take revenge for ruining her life and also saves another innocent girl from his clutches. The film is directed by K R Rangan and produced by Ambika Chitra. The music is composed by Usha Khanna and the story is written by P L Ahuja. The cinematography is by Govind Kumar and the choreography is by Suresh Bhatt. The star cast includes Alok Nath, Sonika Gill, Kapil, Ajinkya Deo and Prem Kumar.
