Prem Kapoor, played by Salman Khan is a happy-go-lucky musician, who lives life on his own terms. After his parent’s death, he has been living with his married elder sister and brother-in-law and their two children. He is in love with Nisha and is planning to marry her soon. However one day Nisha gives him the devastating news that she is marrying a wealthy man instead of Prem as he will be able to take care of her family’s financial problems as well as care for her sick brother. Prem’s world comes crashing down on hearing this. Prem becomes an alcoholic with Nisha’s deceiving.
Prem then struggles to move on with his life and soon meets a beautiful acquaintance named Priya. He fall sin love with her and the two become close. But Prem is afraid to confess his love to Priya and one day he gets the shocking news that Priya is getting engaged to another man. However later he comes to know that Priya too loves him but couldn’t confess her love as well.
The movie is directed by K Muralimohana Rao and produced by Narendra Bajaj. The star cast includes Salman Khan, Jacki Shroff, Rani Mukherjee, Raveena Tandon, Pooja Batra, Mohnish Behl, Shakti Kapoor, Inder Kumar, Kashmira Shah and Reema Lagoo. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics are written by Sudhakar Sharma and Rajesh Malik. The cinematography is by Rajan Kinagi.
