Roshni has big Bollywood dreams and wants to be a successful actress. She has always envisioned herself in the acting profession thus not taking interest in anything else. She leaves her house in Chandigarh, at the tender age of 15 and decides to come to Mumbai, the city of dreams and Bollywood. Feeling lost in the vast sea of humans, she eventually meets a guy called Sikander, who is a mafia don.
Sikander takes pity on her and also starts to like her, thus taking her under his wing. He lets her stay in his house and also helps her get a break in Bollywood. Within a matter of few years, Roshni becomes a top actress. Sikander starts to have feelings for her but Roshni has always looked at him as her mentor and nothing else.
Meanwhile, Roshni meets a boy called Raja and starts falling in love with him. Unaware of their closeness, Sikander has special plans on her birthday but she decides to spend it with Raja leaving Sikander heartbroken.
