Radha Khanna lives a wealthy lifestyle and stays in a palatial house. Her friend Sheela who also is equally wealthy lives in a palatial home that is surrounded by small hutments. One day while visiting her, she hears a man singing from the hutments and is utterly mesmerized. It is a man named Ravi who is a talented singer. She speaks to her father about Ravi and he invites him to sing at the inauguration of a new temple. From
there his fame and success starts to rise. Radha and Ravi fall in love and plan to marry soon. Meanwhile he becomes a famous singer and attributes his success only to himself. This upsets Radha and misunderstandings begin to grow between them. Soon Radha and Ravi separate. She then comes to know that he is marrying a doctor and is heartbroken. Turns out that Ravi has cancer and will not live too long, thus he wanted to take away that burden from Radha’s life. The film is directed by P Sambasiva Rao and produced by P Anand Rao. The star cast
includes Kunal Goswami, Sridevi, Shreeram Lagu, Rakesh Bedi, Mehmood and Madhu Malini.
