Viraj, played by Akshay Kumar and Simrita, played by Kareena Kapoor meet each other at the former’s brother’s Lucky’s wedding to the latter’s best friend, Kamini. They both dislike each other from the word go and discourage the couple from going ahead with the marriage. Simrita tells Kamini that all men are only after sex and have no consideration for a woman’s feelings and emotions, thus she makes her keep a distance from him to test him. Meanwhile Viraj too tests her but the plan fails and the two end up divorced.
Meanwhile Viraj and Simrita keep bumping into each other. Viraj has an accident and is brought into surgery where Simrita is asked to help in the surgery as a medical intern. Accidentally her watch pendant comes off and lands in his stomach. She later tries to remove it but fails everytime. Eventually she gets it out and apologizes to Viraj. They fall realize that they have fallen in love with each other. They then help Lucky and Kamini reconcile too.
The movie is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The music is composed by Anu Malik, Salim-Sulaiman and RDB.
