Jagatpratap wants law and order to prevail in the country and will not compromise on it. His son Ravi however has some different opinions on the same and feels that sometimes to have to go against the law to get justice. This puts the father and son at loggerheads with each other. Dharmendra is a corrupt minister and one day his son and friends rape and kill Jagatpratap’s maid and Ravi’s close friend. This devastates the latter. The criminals are arrested but get away scot-free due to false alibis. Ravi is furious and decides that his ways will nto be agreed upon by his father and thus he leaves him to get justice his own way. Jagatpratap eventually realizes that the law is for Humans and not monsters. He thus joins his son in the fight against injustice.
The film is directed by B Gopal and produced by A S R Anjaneyulu. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Ganapathi Rao Kommanapalli. The star cast includes Dilip Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Nutan, Madhuri Dixit, Kader Khan, Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Tej Sapru, Satyen Kappu, Mayur, Meethy, Jayshree Gadkar, Abhilasha and Vijayalakshmi.
