John, played by John Abraham is an assassin who works on contract. He is in love with Shalini, played by Priyanka Chopra. In one of his missions, he kills an entire family mistakenly when they happen to be there unexpectedly. He also shoots a little girl unintentionally. Guilt ridden, John is traumatized by the memory of the girl, even though his gang members ask him to move on. A tough city cop named Wagh, played by Shiney Ahuja is investigating the crime and questions the lone surviving member of the family.
Meanwhile John’s boss Captain is attacked by another mafia boss called Yunus. An infuriated Captain assigns the task of killing the city’s top VIPs to John, in order to give a message out to everyone who is trying to mess with Captain. He kidnaps Shalini to make sure John does his job. He begins killing one by one reluctantly and Shalini tries to escape to stop John from any further massacre. However she slits her wrists and is admitted in the hospital where she learns she is pregnant and escapes. Meanwhile Wagh kills John friend, while John kills the other. John ultimately kills his boss Captain as well as Yunus before getting accidentally shot himself and breaths his last in Shalini’s arms.
The movie is directed by Sajay F Gupta and produced by Pammi Baweja. The story is written by Suprn Verma. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and Pankaj Awasthi.
