Parvati is a devout devotee of Maa Kali. Everyday she offers prayers to her. One day after praying at the temple, the pujari asks Parvati to take the jewelry safely and deposit it in the bank. She takes the gold and before she could take it to the bank, she is molested by 4 men who also steal the jewelry from her. They then kill the Pujari and flee. The theft of the jewelry as well as the murder of the Pujari is blamed on Parvati and she is arrested. However, she manages to escape and then meets CID inspector Shiv Kumar and falls in love with him. Soon he finds out that she is wanted for the theft of the temple jewelry and murder of the Pujari. He then arrests her and Parvati is humiliated and plans her revenge.
The film is directed and produced by Ashok Punjabi. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The cinematography is by Jal Mistry and Zubin Mistry. The choreography is by Pappu Khanna and Saroj Khan. The star cast includes Shatrughan Sinha, Amrita Singh, Ranjeet,Raza Murad,Anil Dhawan, Sangeeta Naik and Urmila Bhatt.
