Mangala lives in Sitapur with her widowed mother and seven brothers. She is of marriageable age and a rich Banke wants to make her his wife but she dislikes him. Meanwhile Mangala happens to meet an injured Anand and nurses him back to health. Soon the two fall in love and get married. She then moves into Anand’s home with his brother Mukund and sister- in-law Rani. Rani dislikes Mangala as she wanted Anand to marry her sister Rambha. A jilted Banke tries his best to break up the marriage of Anand and Mangala. Soon the latter gets pregnant. The brothers have to travel on work and promise to return just in time for the baby to arrive. When Anand and Mukund return home, they are shocked to hear that Mangala has committed suicide because she gave birth to a snake. The film is directed and produced by Ramlal Hans. The music is composed by C Arjun. The star cast includes Ashish Kumar, Agha, Kanan Kaushal, Ramesh Deo, Bharat Bhushan, Padma Chawan, Meena T, Helen and Seema Deo.
