Mangal Singh is the head of a village that deals with cocaine. The village earns its bread and butter by selling the illegal drug. Honest police officer Kisna, goes into the village in plain clothes and begins living with them. He wins the villagers trust and makes them agree to surrender the cocaine. He even fall sin love and marries Mangal’s daughter Savi. Things almost go well for Kisna and the villagers, until tragedy strikes. Suddenly out of nowhere a large number of police officers come and gun down many villagers in front of Kisna. Mangal and many others are left crippled. The villagers think it is all Kisna’s doing and refuse to ever trust him again.
Kisna is then arrested and spends many years in prison. After release, Kisna finds that he has a son who will not acknowledge him and a new head of the village named Jinda wants Kisna dead. The film is directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Umesh Mehra. The star cast includes Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Pran,Amrit Pal,Gulshan Grover,Kader Khan,Johnny Lever,Satyen Kappu,Punit Issar,Adi Irani,Viju Khote,Bunty, Aruna Irani and Guddi Maruti.
