Kuldeep Khanna, played by Kader Khan, is a wealthy man living in London with his family. He promises his friend Dr. Verma, played by Anupam Kher, that when his daughter Mahek, played by Richa Pallod, comes to London to stay with them he will take care of her. Mahek is a happy-go-lucky girl who has strong Indian traditional values and clear ethics. She begins to see that in the Khanna household, everything is haywire and no one respects the other. She slowly spreads happiness into the house and starts to reform the people living in it.
Meanwhile Kuldeep’s son Sunny, played by Rakesh Bapat, falls in love with Mahek. He one day gets an opportunity and musters up enough courage to propose marriage to her, but unfortunately for Sunny, she turns him down. Everyone comes to know about this in the house and they become hostile towards Mahek. Later Sunny comes to know the real reason why Mahek turned him down. She is suffering from a fatal disease and has very little time left to live.
The movie is directed by Rajesh Bhatt and produced by Vibha Ragani. The music is composed by Nikhil-Vinay.
