Khaan Dost is an Action-Crime Thriller Mystery Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Dulal Guha and written by Subhash Ghai. The Story revolves around the life of Ramdin (played by Raj Kapoor)- A Honest Havaldar living in poor condition with his family, with the trouble of Dowry of his Sister Shanti's marriage asked by the In-Laws- which he can't afford. Rehmat Khan (played by Shatrughan Sinha)- A fearless criminal was arrested for the crime and shifted to jail- where he befriends- Ramdin and used his condition for escaping the Jail, and provided money for a dowry. However, the problem for Ramdin arises, when he is appointed to arrest Rehmat Khan.
