ACP Naidu (Prakash Raj) gathers a team of five police officers which include DCP Anant Srivastav (Amitabh Bachchan), Senior Inspector Shekhar Verma (Akshay Kumar) a corrupt cop, Ashwin Gupte (Tusshar Kapoor) a sub inspector & two constables to bring back Dr, Iqbal Ansari(Atul Kulkarni)safely from Chandangarh to Mumbai.
Yashwant Aangre (Ajay Devgn) is tracking the team of photographers who are on their way to Chandangarh. He meets with a schoolteacher Mahalakshmi (Aishwarya Rai) who is an informer. Lots of firing, shooting happens but in the end the court convicts Aangre, Deodhar & Naidu for life.
