Annie lives in Goa, with her mother and father, who are both mute and deaf. She has a younger brother Sam, who can speak and hear just like her. Annie who loved music and dance gives up both in the face of the family tragedy and no happiness therefore. One day Annie meets a handsome young man named Raj and both fall in love with each other. Raj too loves music and reunites Annie with music. Soon she tells her parents about Raj and they disapprove of him, since he is a Hindu and lives out of Goa.

Annie however goes against their wishes and takes the only chance she has of happiness and marries Raj. They then become parents to a beautiful baby boy that Annie names Sam, after her brother. They all go to visit her parents and they finally accept Annie, Raj and Sam.
