Kabir, played by Ali Fazal has not got much success in his career as a novelist and decides to travel to Kashmir in search of the perfect story. He stays at a guest house there that is run by a attractive lady Meera, played by Sapna Pabbi. Apart from seeing strange visions in the house, Kabir also finds himself besotted by Meera. She too begins to like him but refuses to go out of the house, since her husband Jaidev, played by Gurmeet Chaudhary is bed ridden.
Kabir however, forcibly takes Meera out when they see a strange creature and meet with an accident. Kabir calls a tantric and he discovers that Jaidev’s spirit is in the house. He goes into Jaidev’s room and Meera gets furious seeing him, telling him to leave. But he confronts her asking the truth. She reveals that few years ago after getting married to Jaidev she caught him performing a strange ritual slater and ran with the shock of it but while trying to stop her he fell from the balcony and was paralyzed waist down and later committed suicide.
Jaidev cursed her to stay in the with his soul or the he would expose the truth of her killing him. Fearing her life she has stayed at home ever since. Kabir then decides to cremate Jaidev’s body and eventually after a long struggle with the evil spirits he is able to free Meera and send Jaidev’s soul where it belongs. The movie is directed by Karan Darra and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Jeet Gannguli, Ankit Tiwari, Bobby Imran and Navad Zafar.
