Balwant is a hard working and faithful employee of a truck company along with his brother Jaswant. One day Jaswant is asked to drive the truck in which he finds illegal items being smuggled. He thus refuses to drive the truck. This makes the truck owners very angry and they beat him to death. Balwant is witness to this and swears revenge. A corrupt inspector however frames him for Jaswant’s murder and sets his house on fire killing his pregnant wife. Years later Balwant has turned into a executioner and judge and gives the culprits a death sentence. He later comes to know that his wife is still alive and gave birth to twins Rajesh and Mahesh who got separated at birth.
The film is directed by T Rama Rao and produced by V B Rajendra Prasad. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the story is written by M D Sunder. The cinematography is by S Gopal Reddy. The star cast includes Dharmendra, Sanjay Dutt, Chunky Pandey, Madhuri Dixit, Neelam, Shakti Kapoor, Shafi Inamdar, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Paresh Rawal, Om Shivpuri, Satyendra Kapoor, Chandrashekhar, Raza Murad, Gulshan Grover, Sharat Saxena, Ram Mohan, Siva Krish, Anjana Mumtaz and Sushma Ahuja.
