Sachin, played by Akshay Kumar is a road contractor but doesn’t have much luck in getting contacts and thus doesn’t have enough money to bribe any officials. His elder brother Harish and two brother-in-laws Trigun and Suhas get involved in the collapse of a faulty bridge where many people lose their lives and many get injured. Azad Bhagat’s family is killed in the mishap and he demands justice. Meanwhile a corrupt politician Sanjay, helps them in clearing their name. However Sanjay has his lustful eyes on Sachin’s younger sister Anjali. Without his knowledge the family gets her married to Sanjay, and he is infuriated on learning this fact.
Anjali is killed in an accident in Sanjay’s house but Sachin senses foul play. He finds Azad one day leaving Sanjay’s house and claims he has evidence about the bride collape. Sanchin and Azad then decide to work as a team to expose the truth to all. Unfortunately Sanjay comes to know of the plan and brutally injures Azad. Sachin takes the severely injured Azad to the hospital where he reveals to him that he saw Sanjay’s friends raping his sister and they might have killed her. Sachin then spots Sanjay leaving with the bride construction evidence and stops him but Sanjay gets run over by a bus. He submits the evidence in court and his brother and both brother-in-laws are arrested.
The movie is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Cape of Good Films and Shree Asthavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The music is composed by Pritam and Shehzad Roy.
