Sulakshana Devi is a wealthy Widowed woman who lives with her son Ravi and caretaker Balwant. One she gets the devastating news that her son has been killed in an accident. She finds it difficult to get over the tragic news when a woman named Kamini, comes at her door one day and tells her that she is the mother of Ravi’s unborn child. Sulakshana Devi doubts every word Kamini says and asks her to leave. Ravi’s friend later confirms the story that Kamini is indeed pregnant with Ravi’s child. Sulakshana feels guilty and tries looking for her but in vain.
Years later Arun comes into her life and gets employed by Sulakshana Devi. Meanwhile Seema and her uncle too join in the fun of looting the rich lady and turns out that Seema might be Ravi’s child who was long lost. The film is directed by Rakesh Roshan and produced by Sujit Kumar. The star cast includes Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Sonu Walia,Prem Chopra,Sujit Kumar,Dinesh Hingoo,Anupam Kher,Mack Mohan,Vijayendra Ghatge,S Kapoor,Satish Kaul,Aprajita and Mala Sinha.
