Shyam Prasad is a wealthy business tycoon, and is worried about his young daughter Ritu, played by Mahima Chaudhary, who is of marriageable age. Shyam then hires Dev, played by Akshay Kumar to wrok for his company and is quite impressed by the way Dev manages everything from work to his personal life. He arranges Dev and Ritu’s marriage and gets them engaged. However things take a drastic turn when Shyam is shocked to learn that Dev in reality is a con man who is after his wealth. He has also taken a debt from a gangster.
Dev realizes that Shyam knows his secret and kills him. Ritu’s younger sister sees this and goes into a state of shock and is unable to open her mouth against Dev. When Dev comes to kill Ritu, she kills him instead. She later sees him in the hospital hail and hearty and is shocked. Turns out that is Anand, Dev’s twin brother who was the complete opposite of Dev, who was crooked and cunning. He explains everything to Ritu. Soon Ritu starts falling in love with Anand. The police inspector Rahul however suspects Ritu and Anand to have killed Shyam. They eventually locate Dev’s dead body and the case is closed.
The movie is directed by Neeraj Vora and produced by Keshu Ramsay. The music is composed by Sanjeev-Darshan.
