Mili, played by Sonam Kapoor is a physiotherapist working with the Indian Cricket team and gets called by a royal family in Rajasthan. She is assigned the job of helping King Shekhar get better, who is paralyzed from waist down. She then meets Queen Nirmala who is a strict disciplinarian. Her son, Vikram, played by Fawad Khan is much like his mother but his young sister and her get along fine.
Mili makes the king do exercises, but he always gives an excuse and avoids it. She tries to take Vikram’s help but he tells her to do her job well or leave. Mili later learns that the king’s injury is due to a car accident that also killed his eldest son and the entire atmosphere of the household has changed since then, especially the queen’s attitude. She decides to befriend the king and help him get over his guilt of his son’s death. Within a matter of few months there is immense improvement in the kings health.
Meanwhile Vikram and Mili start falling in love but he informs her that he is already engaged to a princess called Kiara, heartbroken Mili goes back to Delhi. Later the king surprises everyone by standing and walking, thanks to Mili’s dedication and hard work. Vikram later goes to Delhi and confesses his love to Mili and they get married. Khoobsurat is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor
and Siddharth Roy Kapoor. The music is composed by Sneha Khanwalkar, Badshah and Amaal Mallik.
