The movie is directed by Rakesh Kumar, produced by Babboo Mehra, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rekha. Released on 21st January 1977.
It was a blockbuster action, crime film, remade in Tamil by N.T. Rama Rao. Shiva/Tiger (Amitabh Bachchan) and Aslam Sher Khan/Shera (Vinod Khanna) are childhood friends who separate. Shiva meets Chanda (Rekha), they fall in love with each other, get married. She has no idea what work Shiva does till she realises that the area they live in fear him, is shocked when she hears about his criminal acts, asks him to give it up. Shiva promises her that he will, but does he really give it up or just pretends?
The other side of the movie comes, Shera a dacoit but with a good heart but turn rivals though at the end they come together.
