Ranvir Singh works for the notorious gangster Hukumchand. He is a part of most of his evil and criminal deeds. One day Hukumchand kills a man named Victor and demands that Ranvir take the blame for it, for which he will be given a lot of money in return. Ranvir takes a written confession from him and takes the blame for the crime. He later switches his clothing with the dead man to look like it’s him. The cops assume the dead man is Ranvir and close the case. His wife, son Sumer and daughter Geeta are devastated but learn to move on with their father.
When Sumer grows up, he comes to know that his father is still alive and goes by the alias Girdharilal. He confronts his father but he refuses to acknowledge him. Sumer makes up his mind to expose him anyhow. The film is directed by Lekh Tandon and produced by Baldev Pushkarna. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Vinod Khanna, Tina Munin, Ajit, Pran, Nazneen, Jalal Agha, Shakti Kapoor and Zaheera.
