Sonia, played by Minissha Lamba is a happy go lucky girl, living with her divorcee mother Mallika, played by Vidya Malvade and grandmother. Her father Vikrant, played by Sanjay Dutt is a ruthless wealthy businessman. After an argument with her mother one day, when Sonia goes to the beach for a swim, she gets kidnapped by Kabir, played by Imran Khan. He takes her to an old bunglow. Kabir calls up Mallika and asks to speak with Vikrant, who in turn tells Vikrant about the kidnapping. Kabir then tells Vikrant in order to get his daughter back he has to follow the clues he gives him.
Meanwhile Sonia who is shocked at her kidnapping tries to escape but realizes that Kabir is a good person and warms up to him. Later Kabir makes Vikrant commit a robbery and a murder, which turns out to be his own murder. He then shows up and tells Vikrant and years back he had falsely accused him of a crime and thus he wanted to avenge the mental and physical trauma he was put through. Vikrant apologizes to Kabir for his mistake and unites with his daughter. The entire family unites and Kabir meets Sonia once again secretly at a party and apologizes for what he put her through.
The movie is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Dhillin Mehta. The music is composed by Pritam and Sandeep-Sanjeev.
