Ashok Bansal is a stern and arrogant businessman, who doesn’t give anyone a consideration beside himself. He wants everything in his house perfect and just the way he likes it. He got this rough attitude after his mother abandoned him as a child and left him with to two younger siblings to fend for himself. He then made up his mind to be rich and successful. His indifferent attitude also makes him drive his sister Sunita and brother Anil out of the house. One day a unsuspecting orphan girl named Munna ends up at Ashok’s house and is pleasant amused by his demeanor. He wants her to be scared of him but she finds him funny.
Soon Ashok warms up to Munna and they become best of friends. He changes his attitude and accepts everyone warmly around him. He even mends fences with his brother and sister and they all live together again as one happy family. The film is directed by Raakesh Roshan and produced by Raakesh Roshan. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar and Indeevar. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff,Shahrukh Khan, Nagma, Annu Khan,Deven Verma,Paresh Rawal,Vivek Vaswani,Dalip Tahil,Bharat Kapoor,Ghanshyam, Baby Pooja, Sushmeeta Mukherji and Nivedita Saraf.
