Moti is brought up in a humble home by his widowed mother and sister Shyama. He works hard to make ends meet and feed his family. One day he meets a beautiful and charming girl named Ganga and both fall in love. He brings her mom to meet his mother and sister who give their approval. She stays with them when one day a group of armed men barge into their home. Moti’s mother stops them from getting close to Ganga but is horrified at what they tell her. They claim that Ganga is infact a prostitute who has run away. She lets the men take her and is devastated for letting a woman of questionable character live in her home. Meanwhile Moti returns home from work and is upset at Ganga not being there. He goes out to search for her but it wont be easy. The film is directed by Bhisham Kohli and produced by Yash Kohli. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Ranjeeta, Shakti Kapoor, T P Jain, Om Shivpuri, Jalal Agha, Birbal, Urmila Bhatt and Shivangi Kolhapure.
